The New Forest
There is a wealth of places to visit and explore in the New Forest from award winning gardens, museums, leisure and wildlife parks plus much more. Each season provides a change of scene from the rich deep colours of spring and summer to the seasons of mists and mellow fruitfulness.
New Forest Tour
An open top bus safari through the New Forest National Park. You can hop on an off on 3 different routes that cover the entire New Forest area. Tours run daily, with a choice of three routes: Red (the wild northwest), Green (the beautiful southeast) and Blue (the coastal southwest). From the top deck you'll enjoy tree-top views of the National Park, with roaming animals, wide open heaths and ancient forest.
The New Forest Wildlife Park
As you walk about the Wildlife Park you'll see some of Europe's largest gathering of otters, owls and other indigenous wildlife all in their natural surroundings including, pine martens, badgers, polecats, mink, foxes, Scottish wildcats,
Lazy Daze Boat & Fishing Trips
Lazy daze is a 25ft motorboat moored at Bucklers Hard, Beaulieu. The boat is available for a 2hr river trip up to 12hr fishing adventure. There is free parking, pontoon access, a café & Pub on site. Lazy daze is owned and skippered by Jeff Semple, who has been fishing & boating in the Solent area for many years. The aim is give you an enjoyable and safe day at sea, whether you are fishing, bird watching or just enjoying the scenery.

This picturesque castle set in Calshot, a coastal village in Southampton, Hampshire, England. This beautiful village provides a perfect relaxing family day out by the coast.This artillery fort, built by Henry VIII to defend the sea passage to Southampton, was recently used as a Navy and RAF base.
Hurst Castle is situated at the seaward end of the shingle spit that extends 1.5 miles from Milford-On-Sea. The end of the spit, only three-quarters of a mile from the Isle of Wight, and the views from the top of the centre keep are spectacular.

Boldrewood Deer Sanctuary
Once out of the car park area there are a number of well marked walks you can try including the short (roughly half a mile) Bolderwood Deer Watch Trail, that takes you to a nearby Bolderwood deer sanctuary and deer viewing platform where you can get some great photo's of the herd of fallow deer who have become more accustomed to a human presence.
Rhinefield Ornamental Drive
This is the best place to experience the majestic Douglas firs and redwoods of the Rhinefield Ornamental Drive. You will find some of the tallest and oldest Douglas fir trees in Britain to wonder at as you stroll along the Tall Trees Trail. Walk the Tall Trees Trail, take a picnic and wonder at the majesty of two enormous redwoods visible from the path. Stroll around the Sensory Trail and really experience trees from around the world in the Blackwater Arboretum.

Lepe Country Park
Lepe is a coastal Country Park in the New Forest National Park. There are stunning views across the Solent to the Isle of Wight. With over a mile of beach, pine fringed cliffs, historic D-Day remains and wild flower meadows, Lepe is a great day out, whether you want to relax and take in the view or do something a bit more energetic.

Beaulieu and the National Motor Museum
Formerly the 14th century Great Gatehouse of Beaulieu Abbey, Palace House is set in glorious grounds and gardens with immaculate spreading lawns and walkways overlooking the Beaulieu River and Bucklers Hard. Few car museums in the world can match the unique collection of the world renowned National Motor Museum at Beaulieu.
They are a spectacular 200-acre woodland garden, world-famous for the Rothschild collection of rhododendrons, azaleas and camellias, rare trees and plants, a riot of colour in spring, and a dazzling sight in the autumn.
Hythe is a small bustling town wedged between Southampton Water and New Forest National Park. From here you can catch the ferry that will take you across to Southampton.
Take the oldest continuously operating public pier train in the world down all 700 yards Hythe pier to the ferry. The ferry takes 10 mins to get to Southampton and passes the terminal used by passenger liners Queen Mary 2 and Queen Victoria, and various other cruise ships, giving good views of these vessels when they are in port.
The crossing is just 40 minutes – that’s the shortest and fastest car ferry route to the Isle of Wight – on board one of Wightlink’s spacious ferries. The ferry links the charming market town and yacht haven of Lymington in the New Forest, with historic Yarmouth, perfectly placed for beautiful West Wight. It’s the most scenic IOW ferry crossing.
Dibden Golf Course is a good golf course with some of the best greens. The course layout is good and some of the holes are quite challenging.
Calshot Water Sports and Water Ski Centre in Hampshire is one of the largest Outdoor Adventure Centres in Britain and is run by Hampshire County Council.Situated in a unique position on the shores of the Solent, its magnificent setting gives immediate access to the country’s most popular Watersports location.
