TERMS OF BUSINESS: Room bookings made directly with us through our website www.dalefarmhouse.co.uk or by telephone to 0044 (0) 2380 849632 are inclusive of a full English breakfast, free parking, complimentary room refreshments, fruit and vat. Bookings made through agents may be different e.g. Activity Superstore, Trip Advisor, Booking.com, Expedia etc.
DEPOSIT: To secure a reservation we hold your VISA, AMEX or MasterCard details as security and debit your card with the agreed amount for a deposit (the minimum charge is £50), Bookings over £400 in value are asked for a 50% deposit of the total cost at the time of booking. Deposits are non-refundable.
PAYMENT: We accept payment by cash, or cheque payable to Mrs C M Archdeacon. We also accept most major credit & debit cards – there is a fee transaction charge of 3% on commercial cards. Our VAT registration number is 124958493.
CANCELLATIONS: The guest will be charged 50% of the total price if they cancel/change after reservation, and the total price if they cancel/change in the 30 days before arrival.
CHECK-IN & CHECK-OUT: Check-in is from 3pm and Check-out is by 11am on the day of departure, if you need it to be earlier or later please give us a call.
BREAKFAST & MEALS: Breakfast is served from 7-9am Monday to Friday, and from 8 – 9.30am Saturday, Sunday and Bank Holidays. There is an integrated fridge & microwave in the dresser in the dining room along with cutlery, crockery, glasses and unbreakable plates, cups, glasses for the garden. No mobile phones in the dining room at meal times please.
CHILDREN: We welcome children of all ages and supply cots and high chairs. Please supervise all children in the house & garden.
PETS: We are not able to accommodate guest pets in the house. However, we can suggest a local company to look after your pet. We do have a cat of our own.
MANOR ROAD: The lane leading to our farmhouse is a County Council adopted single track tarmacked roadway & we recommend a maximum speed of 10mph. The drive leading to the farmhouse has a tarmac surface but is used by horse riders, children and other users and we recommend you remain at no more than 5 mph. At the end of the tarmac driveway turn left behind the Hay Barn and follow the short unmade roadway to our Car Park.
NEIGHBOURS: Our immediate neighbour, who shares our driveway, runs a small holding and asks all visitors not to enter the yard, paddocks or lake area.
SMOKING: We operate a non-smoking policy throughout the building and grounds – smoking is only permitted in the car park.
SECURITY & PERSONAL BELONGINGS: We do not accept any responsibility for loss or damage to guests’ property in the building, car park and grounds.
DAMAGE: We reserve the right to charge for any cleaning or replacement costs where damage has been caused by guests.
