Terms and Conditions
TERMS OF BUSINESS: Rates are inclusive of full English breakfast and service charges.
DEPOSIT: To secure a reservation we hold your credit card details as security and may take a non-refundable deposit of one nights accommodation for each room booked, using a holding company showing as Walcot House on your statement.
PAYMENT: We accept payment by cash or cheque. We can only accept credit card payments with a 3% transaction charge.
CANCELLATIONS: We do not charge for cancellations where we are able to re-let the accommodation, all other cancellations are charged.
CHECK-IN & CHECK-OUT: Check-in is from 4.30pm and Check-out is by 11am on the day of departure, if you need it to be earlier or later please give us a call.
BREAKFAST: Breakfast is served from 6.45am to 9.00am Monday to Friday, and from 8am to about 9.30am Saturday, Sunday and Bank Holidays.
CHILDREN: We welcome children of all ages and supply cots and high chairs. Please note we have a stream at the bottom of the garden.
PETS: We are not able to accommodate guest pets however we can suggest a local lady in Marchwood who takes dogs over night in her own home. We do have a cat and ducks of our own.
MANOR ROAD : The lane leading to our farmhouse is a County Council adopted unmade road and can be bumpy, we recommend a maximum speed of 10mph. The drive leading to the farmhouse has a tarmac surface but is used by horse riders, children and other users and we recommend you remain at no more than 10mph
NEIGHBOURS: Our immediate neighbour who shares our driveway runs the riding stables and asks all visitors not to enter the stable yard or paddocks unless riding – to access our farmhouse turn left at the Hay Barn and follow to the Car Park.
SMOKING: We operate a non-smoking policy throughout the building and grounds - smoking in the garden area of the car park only.
SECURITY & PERSONAL BELONGINGS: We do not accept any responsibility for loss or damage to guests’ property in the building, car park and grounds.
DAMAGE: We reserve the right to charge for any cleaning or replacement costs where damage has been caused by guests. |
