As you walk about the Wildlife Park you'll see some of Europe's largest gathering of otters, owls and other indigenous wildlife all in their natural surroundings including, pine martens, badgers, polecats, mink, foxes, Scottish wildcats, deer, lynx, wallabies and wild boar. |

Boldrewood Deer Sanctuary
Once out of the car park area there are a number of well marked walks you can try including the short (roughly half a mile) Bolderwood Deer Watch Trail, that takes you to a nearby Bolderwood deer sanctuary and deer viewing platform where you can get some great photo's of the herd of fallow deer who have become more accustomed to a human presence. |

Lepe Country Park
Lepe is a coastal Country Park in the New Forest National Park. There are stunning views across the Solent to the Isle of Wight. Hythe
Hythe is a small bustling town wedged between Southampton Water and New Forest National Park. From here you can catch the ferry that will take you across to Southampton.

Hythe Ferry
Take the oldest continuously operating public pier train in the world down all 700 yards Hythe pier to the ferry. The ferry takes 10 mins to get to Southampton and passes the terminal used by passenger liners Queen Mary 2 and Queen Victoria, and various other cruise ships, giving good views of these vessels when they are in port. |

Horse Riding in the New Forest
A great way to experience the natural beauty of The New Forest is to take a ride on a horse. Local stables such as Burley Villa School of Riding offer hacks and rides into the forest and cater for both beginners and seasoned riders, young or old. |

Lymington with its Saturday market
A beautiful, Georgian market town, Lymington is situated on the southern edge of the New Forest, between Southampton and Bournemouth and at the western end of the Solent marked by Hurst Castle. The town is world renowned as a sailing resort; there are two large marinas Berthon and Haven and two sailing clubs Royal Lymington Yacht Club and Lymington Town. The Saturday market is one of the best on the South Coast. |
